From Pre-history to Civilization

Topic : From Pre-history to Civilization (3000-1200 B.C.) Lo1 : Define pre-history, Paleolithic, Neolithic, Fertile Crescent. Lo2 : Describe the impact of the Agriculture Revolution Lo3 : Identify the 5 characteristics of civilization Pre-history is the period of time before records were written down. Paleolithic is the early phase of the Stone Age, when tools were becoming more developed. Neolithic is a time periods, after the Paleolithic Age, where farming started to develop and had one of the first domesticated animals. Fertile Crescent is crescent shaped area in the Middle East that made it easy to grow crops. Five characteristics of civilization are workers, complex institutions, record keeping, advanced technology, and more advanced cities/towns.
