Chapter 1 Section 2 Guided Reading Questions:
1. How did hunter-gatherers use technology to improve their chances of survival?
Hunter - gatherers used technology to improve their chances of survival by using stone, bone, and wood to make different tools.
2. What types of art did Paleolithic people create?
Cave painting and carvings were some types of art that Paleolithic people created.
3. What factors led to the agricultural revolution? 
Factors that led to the agriculture revolution was from food gathering to food producing culture. 
4. How did farming develop and spread worldwide?
Framing developed and spread worldwide because of the change in climate and the more dryer area for farming.
5. What were some of the cultural achievements of Neolithic villagers?
Some of the culture achievement of Neolithic villagers grew crops such as wheat, barely, and other crops.
6. What problems did early villagers face?
Some problems that the early villagers faced were that they had to find food instead of growing it. Also their technology and weapons are not very advanced.

Nomad is a person who moved from place to place in search for food. Hunter-gatherer are people who mainly depend on hunting animals and gathering crops for food. Neolithic Revolution is agriculture revolution.
Slash-and-burning farming is cutting down and burning trees or grass to clear a field for use. Domestication when animals are tamed.
Which effect of the development of agriculture was the most significant? Explain.
The most significant development of agriculture is the development of tools. Tools were used for many things. For example they were used to make other tools. Also to find food and hunt the food.

 Main Ideas:
How did Cro-Magnon’s new tools make survival easier? The Cro-Magnons new tools made survival easier because it became easier for them to hunt and kill their food because of their new and specialized tools.
What factors played a role in the origins of agriculture? The factors that played a role in the origins of agriculture was the climate. The climate effected the growth of crops which effected they food supply.
What were the first crops grown in the Americas? The first crops that were grown in the Americas were corn, squash, and beans.
